Mary has been a constant visitor to my work since 2015 when my husband died...she seems to bring comfort and remind me of my generous and forgiving heart.... 
For me, there is a simplicity and magic to painting with watercolours, the fresh lucidity of the pigments suspended in the water-based emulsion and the ability to quickly render an expression or idea into a piece of work, which I find incredibly fulfilling. I love to play with inspiring thoughts in these pieces.
