Painted whilst on Art residency in Skarinou, Cyprus, this piece reflects the feel of the sun drenched wee villages clinging to the hills (like limpets on a rock) that surrounded us on our 3 month stay. Each wee village had several churches, sometimes seeming more churches than congregation!. We traipsed through many of these such villages in the cooler evenings seeking local cuisine and sorbet ices and always found heavenly adventure.
